Card slide This is a slide at the card exit which guides the card into a delivery tray of e.g. a vending machine.

Card drop function The card drop function means that the card doesn´t remain in the card exit (bezel) but is dropped out of the device. This function is used when e.g. a card slide is used like in vending machines, the card is dropped in a delivery tray.
Higher frame with card reject bin This option means that the frame of the device is higher which makes it possible to integrate a card reject bin. In this bin the rejected cards are stored.
Card capture function The card capture function is an option which is used in card dispensers or card collectors. Cards which are e.g. defective or not collected from the customer are returned under the device or into a error card bin, see higher frame card reject bin option.
Shutter The shutter is a mechanical or electronical gate (see photo) for the card slot of card readers, card dispensers and card collectors. It prevents external influence like the insertion of coins, ice cream sticks, paper etc. (vandalism), into the card system which may cause device error or damages.
Card Lock System With the card lock system, the card is mechanically locked inside the card reader and can´t be removed during data processing. So the card can´t be e.g. removed to early from the customer, while reading the data from the card.
Bezel The bezel is installed in front of the card slot of card reader, card dispenser and card collector, as a insertion aid for the cards.
HiCo LoCo magnetic stripe According to ISO standard magnetic cards are referred as HiCo (high coercivity) with 2750-4000 Oe (Oe=Oerstedt which defines the auxilary of the magnetic field) or LoCo (low coercivity) with 300-600 Oe. Card magazine capacity All data referring to a card thickness of 0,76 mm. Thinner cards mean more capacity, thicker cards less. In case of a 100 cards magazine it means: 76 cards mit 1 mm thickness 81 cards mit 0,84 mm thickness (z.B. RFID cards ) 100 cards mit 0,76 mm thickness (z.B. magnetic cards) 152 [...]
Card tickness The systems can be adjusted to various card thickness, e.g. 0,2 mm to 1,0 mm. Default setting is 0,76 mm unless it is ordered with diffenrent setting. The card thickness can be easily adjusted at any time, see setting instructions in service manual.
